Julia Smith-Harrington,
PT, DPT
Julia, a West Albany High School graduate, played Division 1 softball as a pitcher/shortstop for Towson University in Maryland. With her athletic background Julia’s passion is to work with the orthopedic population including young athletes.
Julia is a big supporter of prioritizing mental health and wellness and understands the intricate relationship between the mind and body when it comes to injury rehabilitation and sports performance in the athlete, young and old.
She loves being a physical therapist because it allows her to help others get back to doing the things they enjoy without limitation; and getting to meet new people and build relationships in the community.
Julia is an art and crafts queen with a special gift for painting and sewing. Playing Pickleball, Spike ball, and spending time with her golden retriever Maple, along with caring for her house plants is how she spends her free time.
Education:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from Oregon State University-Cascades
- Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Towson university in 2020
What her patients say about her:
“As an athlete, Julia really connected with me and got me back to baseball, hitting more fastballs than before! I am coming back to her again if I have any other PT problems!”
